UAP Mobile Marketplace- Northwest Community Center
UP’s non-profit grocery program is going mobile! To further assist families during this increased time of need, United Against Poverty is loading their truck with a featured protein or produce item and visiting communities throughout Florida to offer a hand UP. The Mobile Market will offer drive-up service with convenient trunk loading. Masks and gloves will be provided, and proper social distancing guidelines will be observed. Individuals will contribute a small handling fee to offset transportation costs so that the organization can continue getting grocery items into the hands of those who need it. This meaningful exchange is part of United Against Poverty’s hand UP model designed to restore dignity, teach empowerment and help our neighbors overcome the obstacles that are holding them back.
