TeamUP 360

What is TeamUP 360? 45 volunteers each and every day. 360 days a year. That’s 16,200 volunteers this year. But that’s just this year. You see, the need for our services in Central Florida is, unfortunately, rising. Just five years ago, we were adding 5 new members a day, and today....we’re adding an average of 23 new members a day. (Our goal, of course, is to lift people out of poverty so they don’t need our services.) So, that’s why we need you, all of you, and your friends, too. We need volunteers to assist with everything from unloading trucks when deliveries come in to sorting products to cleaning up to stocking shelves. Because, while you, our TeamUP 360 volunteers work directly with our UP Grocery Program, our staff is keeping our other programs – Crisis Stabilization Program, Success Training Employment Program (STEP) and Education Program – going strong, allowing us to achieve our mission of lifting people out of poverty. For good. So, thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for all you do and for all the difference you’re helping to make in Central Florida. We offer three convenient shifts to choose from: 8:30 am -12:00 pm 12:30 pm -4:00 pm 4:30 pm-7:30 pm

Volunteer Orientation

Thank you for registering for Volunteer Orientation! Individual volunteers provide crucial support to our daily operations, and we want to make sure everyone is trained on the proper safety techniques and procedures in our Member Share Grocery Program. Here are a few things you need to know for Orientation: We begin promptly at 2:00 pm, please be on time. Doors are closed at 2:15 pm, and you will have to reschedule for the next available date. Where to go: We are located at 150 W. Michigan St. Orlando, FL 32806. Upon arriving, please come to the Education Center, located in suite D. Adjudicated volunteers must bring documentation of their charge or offense. You will not be able to volunteer without showing that paperwork. Please be advised, as outlined on the volunteer application: We do not accept violent or sexually-based offenses. Parking is very limited on our campus, and we make an effort to ensure our members have priority. Because of this, we ask that All volunteers and staff park in the South Lot (located within the white iron fence).
