Quack Attack on Poverty 5k Event Logistics

We are seeking volunteers to serve as course monitors and assist with set-up and tear down of our upcoming charity/run walk, the Quack Attack on Poverty 5k. The race is taking place on Saturday, February 15 at Harbor Park. The shift time is 4:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. As this is an offsite event and is extremely early, we are offering an additional 4 hours to volunteers who arrive on time and stay through breakdown.

Location Information
The race is held at Harbor Park in Lake Baldwin and our Volunteer Check-In will be located on the patio of the nearby Gator's Dockside (4982 New Broad Street, Orlando, FL 32814).
Extra Hours Details for those Seeking Community Service Hours
At this time we are only offering extra hours to volunteers who can commit to working the entire 4:30 - 10:30 a.m. shift. Please note that extra hours will only be granted to those who check-in at the volunteer table prior to 4:35 a.m. This is very important! Anyone arriving at 4:36 a.m. or after will receive normal hours for this shift, so be sure you are early and allow yourself an extra 15 minutes to park and walk to check-in in order to receive this benefit. Sorry, no exceptions.

Volunteer Check-In
Once you arrive on-site, please report directly to the Volunteer Check-In table located on the Gator's Dockside patio. Here you will receive instructions on your specific responsibilities as well as your volunteer name tag. Please make sure to sign-in at the beginning of your shift and sign-out at the conclusion of your shift.

Attire
Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and expect to be outside. Clothing must be family-friendly and your green/blue UP volunteer shirt is preferred. Upon signing in at the Volunteer Check-In table you will receive an orange armband/water wing name tag to identify yourself as a race volunteer. This must be worn at all times during the event.
