Welcome Desk Training

As a part of the Membership Team, the Customer Relations Specialist (CRS) will be the primary point of contact for participants in the Member Share Grocery Program (MSGP). As such, the CSR provides excellent customer service and displays great communication skills. Please read the following information carefully, as there are additional qualifications and requirements for this position.

Time Committment
Because of the training and probationary period, we ask for a minimum 100-hour committment of volunteers.

Please be aware, workforce volunteers with a consistent schedule and availability will be given priority for the Customer Relations Specialist position. This means, your schedule may change on short notice.

Probationary Period
There is a 2-week probationary period to ensure they are progressing successfully. During this time, volunteers are responsible to comeplete the following online trainings:

  • Customer Service
  • Ethics
  • HIPAA Laws
  • Professionalism
  • Email & Phone Ettiquette
